"Can You Afford to Retire?" (9 p.m., PBS): The baby-boomer generation is headed for a shock as it hits retirement: Many boomers may outlive their ability to maintain an acceptable lifestyle. To maintain their standard of living, experts say Americans with pensions or 401(k)-type plans need to accumulate six to 10 times their annual pay before they reach retirement. "Frontline" investigates a looming financial crisis, and its potential impact on middle-class Americans, in "Can You Afford to Retire?" With correspondent Hedrick Smith.
