Air traffic controllers and retirement:
The National Air Traffic Controllers Association is concerned about work-force shortages because 3,769 of the country's 14,736 air traffic controllers will be eligible to retire in 2007.
The Federal Aviation Administration predicts only about 1,100 will actually retire. The union disagrees and says the FAA is unprepared.
