Berroteran 50th observed April 21 at dinner dance

XBOARDMAN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Andrew and Barbara Berroteran of Boardman was celebrated April 21 during a dinner dance at The Oak View in Struthers.
Invitations for the event were issued by the couple's son and daughter-in-law, Byron and Renea Berroteran of Avon Lake.
A granddaughter completes the family.
The Berroterans were married April 21, 1956, at St. Ann Church in Youngstown. They are members at St. Joseph Church, Austintown.
Mrs. Berroteran, the former Barbara Luther, was assistant director of operations for Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Youngstown until 1981, and she owned A.B. Luther Insurance in Chandler, Ariz., until her retirement in 1999.
Mr. Berroteran served for three years in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked for U.S. Steel Corp. for 30 years, retiring in 1979, and for another 10 years at Intertel in Chandler, where he retired in 1998.
