School janitor held in porn case

BOARDMAN -- A custodian at Market Street Elementary School was arrested Friday on three counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor, township police report.
John A. Rotunno, 56, of 386 Fairground Blvd., Canfield, was arrested Friday afternoon after an investigation that began Thursday morning.
At that time, another school employee found what appeared to be pornographic images on the school's computer network.
The employee brought the matter to the attention of the school administration, which secured the equipment and called police.
Rotunno was arrested at the Boardman Police Department and booked into the Mahoning County Jail.
He will be arraigned at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Mahoning County Court, Boardman.
Police said that at this time, no images of Boardman pupils have been found. The computer involved was not located in an area accessible to pupils.
Police and school officials continue to investigate.
