Mass for guild
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Diocesan Infant Jesus of Prague Guild will conduct its monthly Mass at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church, 252 E. Wood St. The rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. with Mass at 10.
Concert planned
YOUNGSTOWN -- A concert is planned at 3 p.m. May 21 at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 421 Covington St., by harpist Kirk Kupensky and flutist Kelly Zunic. The program will include the Youngstown premiere of the five-movement "Book of Hours." Refreshments will follow.
Pastoral anniversary
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Rev. Michael H. Harrison Sr., pastor of Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave., will celebrate his 11th anniversary at 6 p.m. May 20 with singing, dancing and praise. The Rev. Kenneth Paramore of United Baptist Church in Akron and founder of CRDC Worship Center will speak at 4 p.m. May 21. A mortgage-burning ceremony also is planned to acknowledge that the church became debt-free in eight years.
Women's Day set
STRUTHERS -- Pilgrim Baptist Church, 67 McClure St., will have its annual Women's Day on May 21 with the theme, "P.U.S.H. [Pray Until Something Happens]." Guest speaker will be Beulah Banks of Second Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church of Cleveland. The group will also bowl at 2 p.m. next Saturday at Bell Wick Bowl in Hubbard.
Pilgrimage planned

Choir reorganizing
HOWLAND -- Warren Civic Chorus (Messiah Choir) will meet from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Monday at Living Lord Lutheran Church, 851 Niles-Cortland Road N.E., to reorganize the chorus.
Pray for Youngstown
CANFIELD -- Lifecare Ministry Center, Lucille Orr Ministries Inc., 5599 Muirfield Drive, will host a community gathering to pray for Youngstown at 6:30 p.m. May 23. The program will include Youngstown Mayor Jay Williams, music by Old North Youth Group Praise Band and Lifecare Ministry Team and prayer by Maryellen DiPaola. A dessert reception will follow.

'Da Vinci Code' program
AUSTINTOWN -- Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 2432 S. Raccoon Road, will hold a four-week study program on "What is Truth? Discussing the Da Vinci Code" at 7 p.m. Wednesdays, May 24 and 31 and June 7 and 14. The Rev. 'Da Vinci Code' simulcast
SALEM -- Locust Grove Baptist Church, 12015 Washington Road, will present "Unlocking the Da Vinci Code," a live satellite simulcast conference from 7:30 to 9 p.m. May 21. Presenters will be Lee Stroebel, author of "A Case for Christ, A Case for Creation"; Mark Mittelberg, executive director of Evangelism for Willow Creek Association; and Dr. Erwin Lutzer, author of "The Da Vinci Deception." The program is free.
Gospel musical
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Men's and Women's Day Committee of Alpha and Omega First Baptist Church, 3120 Winton Ave., will sponsor Great Gospel Music at 5 p.m. May 21 featuring the band Prophecy. Other performers will be soloists, Jackie Bonner, Irma Davis, Clifford Dobbs, Rachelle Joy, the Rev. Betty McMillian, Reba Murry and the Rev. Ricky Tigner; the New Vision Youth Choir and saxophonist the Rev. Johnny Wallace.
