Golf classic will be held June 12

This is the ninth year for the event.
VIENNA -- Squaw Creek Country Club, 701 Youngstown-Kingsville Road, will be the setting June 12 for the Ninth Annual Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic Golf Classic.
The event is a benefit for the clinic, a free-standing drug and alcohol treatment center that was founded in Youngstown in 1946. This year's proceeds will go to its Dick Riley Fellowship Hall, a site for 12-step meetings and recovery events, and the residential substance abuse treatment program for alcohol- and drug-dependent youth.
To participate
The cost is $175 per golfer, and corporate sponsorships are available at several levels.
Local businesses and individuals have donated prizes for a Mega Raffle to be held during a reception following the golf outing. Among the prizes are Florida vacations, entertainment packages, and tickets to sporting events, including Youngstown State University Penguins, Mahoning Valley Scrappers, Cleveland Browns and Indians, and Pittsburgh Pirates. Tickets are $25 each or five for $100.
For registration information or to purchase raffle tickets, visit the clinic's Web site at www.nkrc.org or contact Debbie Harding, (330) 744-1181 Ext. 101.
