Canfield group plans Junior Camp

CANFIELD -- The Mahoning County 4-H program will have its annual 4-H Junior Camp from June 18-24 at 4-H Camp Whitewood in Windsor, Ohio, in Ashtabula County.
The Mahoning County Junior Camp, with a theme of "Grand Slam Summer," is open to children between the ages of 9 and 14 (grades 3 through 8). They do not need to be 4-H members to attend.
For more than 50 years, 4-H Camp Whitewood has provided camping activities which include swimming, boating, crafts, archery, riflery, recreation and campfires. Campers are supervised by trained counselors and permanent staff.
A fee of $195 includes meals, lodging, program supplies, crafts, instructors, camp T-shirt and photo, and many opportunities for fun and learning. Registration and full payment are due by June 1. The camp will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
