ANIMAL CHARITY Group plans dog show, charity hike

The charity hike will be in the park's trails.
BOARDMAN -- Animal Charity is hosting its second annual Dog Show/Charity Hike from 1 to 4 p.m. June 3 in Boardman Township Park to raise funds for its wildlife rehabilitation, humane and education programs.
Animal Charity is a licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility in Mahoning County and has an active humane investigator in the county.
Animal Charity is looking for people to donate prizes for raffle drawings. Anyone may donate valued prizes, and all donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.
The dog show will feature dogs of various breeds, including mixed breed dogs that would not qualify for other dog shows. Dogs will be judged in several categories and prizes will be being awarded to the owners of the winning animals.
The hike will be through the park's trails. Participants can bring their dog with them, but it's not required. Those wishing to take part in the hike need to fill out a participation form.
Requirements
Animal Charity is seeking qualified contestants to participate in the dog show and charity hike. To enter your dog in the show and/or hike, a dog must be spayed or neutered and have all its current vaccinations.
During this event, all dogs must be on a leash held by their owner at all times, and all dog owners will be required to clean up after their pets.
