Canfield Rotary motorcycle raffle will help families of Ohio soldiers

CANFIELD -- The Canfield Rotary Club will raffle a Harley-Davidson motorcycle to help families of Ohio soldiers.
State Rep. John Boccieri, who is running for the state Senate, met with Rotary Club members Thursday at Fair Park in Canfield to help them announce the fundraiser and to explain the Ohio Military Relief Fund.
Boccieri said people can donate to the fund. The money is intended to help military families who are struggling financially.
The Harley-Davidson dealer on Boardman-Canfield Road has donated the bike, a Sportster 883. Tickets are $10 each and are available at the dealership as well as through the Rotary Club.
The bike will be given away July 1 during the Rotary Club's tribute to the military and community fireworks celebration. The event will be at the Canfield Fairgrounds beginning at 5 p.m. The rain date is July 2.
There will be activities for children, classic cars, motorcycles, military displays, food and music. Harley-Davidson will present two 20-minute stunt shows. Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m.
