Association holds scholarship dinner

YOUNGSTOWN -- The Catholic Collegiate Association held its annual scholarship dinner May 4 at the Youngstown Country Club.
Minnie Andrews, scholarship committee chairman, presented a $1,000 scholarship to Felecia Williams, a student a Youngstown State University who is majoring in nursing.
It was announced that the organization's officers accepted appointment to continue serving for the 2006-07 year. They are Mary Place Thomas, president; Janyce Lawrence, first vice president; Anita Stothard, second vice president; Sandy Dobran, recording secretary; Barbara Marsch, corresponding secretary; Antonio Douglass and Janet Detwiler, treasurers; and Beverly Mursean, trustee.
