May gets 66 years in guns-for-Ecstasy case
DAYTON (AP) -- A man was sentenced to 66 years in prison on Wednesday as part of what authorities describe as a conspiracy in which 200 stolen guns were taken to New York and swapped for the drug Ecstasy.
In 2004, a U.S. District Court jury convicted John Kuehne Jr., 28, of Sidney, of several charges, including conspiracy to steal firearms and transport them over state lines and obtaining firearms to be exchanged for drugs.
Prosecutors said the firearms were stolen from gun dealers in Fort Loramie, North Lewisburg and St. Henry between December 2002 and February 2003.
