Meetings to inform about voucher use

BOARDMAN -- Youngstown Christian School, 4401 Southern Blvd., will hold two informational sessions for parents or guardians interested in applying for state school vouchers to move their children out of Wilson High School, Hayes Middle School or West Elementary School in Youngstown.
The informational sessions will be at 7 p.m. Thursday and Monday.
Wilson, Hayes and West are on the state's Educational Choice Scholarship Pilot Program list of schools that have been rated in Academic Emergency or Academic Watch for three consecutive years.
Children in those schools can apply for tuition vouchers to attend private schools participating in the program. Youngstown Christian School is participating. For more information, call the school at (330) 788-8088.
