Authorities ID man killed in car accident

WARREN -- The driver who died from injuries suffered in a single-car crash on the city's southeast side early Sunday was identified as Maurice Harbin, 24, of Douglas Street.
He died at St. Joseph Health Center.
Police said the car was northbound on Pine Avenue near Roanoke Avenue at high speed at 2:20 a.m., and Harbin tried to pass another vehicle going in the same direction.
He lost control, went off the left side of the road and hit a metal pole. The car overturned, trapping him underneath, as it came to rest on railroad tracks, police said.
