Austintown The Paper Center 3, Canfield Creekside Fitness 2 -- Chris Miller and Danny Costello combined on a four-hitter for Austintown. Miller pitched five innings, striking out six, while Costello fanned four in two innings. Mike Currao went 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Eddie Reese singled and had an RBI for Canfield, and Danny Reese doubled.
Poland David's Heating 7, Boardman McDonald Financial 6 -- Cooper Kostelik had three RBIs for Poland and Brian Helbley gave up one run in four innings of relief. Danny Fernback and Garrett Pancake both hit RBI doubles for Boardman and Matt Lukach struck out five.
Poland David's Heating 9, Campbell East Suburban Optimist 3 -- David Hagendorn had eight strikeouts for Poland. Cooper Kostelic went 3-for-3, scoring three times. David Benedis struck out seven in a complete game for Campbell. He also hit a triple.
Austintown The Paper Center 12, Poland RLM Electric 2 -- Anthony Savko went six innings, allowing just two hits while fanning 10. Savko also had three hits, as did Ryan Nicholson. Eddie Kubic had two hits, including a double, and two RBIs. Dave Argeras had a single and two RBIs for Poland.
