Kindergarten tests
Ohio children entering kindergarten were required for the first time to take a test to determine how ready they are for school. A perfect score is 29. Here is a sampling of the results by the kind of school:
Suburban/urban, high median income 22.5Rural, moderate- to high-income 20.8Charter schools 19.2Rural, low median income 18.9Major urban, high poverty 16.6
