Westminster 4-6, Thomas More 7-5 -- The Saints took a 5-0 lead midway through the fourth inning of the opener. Westminster was paced by freshman shortstop Nick Maiorano (New Castle), who was 2-for-3 with a run scored. In the nightcap Westminster scored the game-winning run on a TMC throwing error with one out in the bottom of the ninth. Freshman Jonathan Camuso (1-0) (McDonald) pitched the final inning for the win.
Westminster 4, Thomas More 1 -- The Titans closed the season with a record of 18-19, 6-12 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference. Thomas More is 22-16, 8-10. Freshman DH John Izzo (New Castle Union) went 2-for-4 for the Titans.

Penn State Open
Grove City -- Sophomore Matt Kulinski won the pole vault. Kulinski cleared 14 feet, 5 1/4 inches. Sophomore Chris Andrew finished second in the 3000 steeplechase (10:10.50). Junior Seth Fox took third in the 200 (23.10) while junior Mark Murchie placed third in the 400 (51.43). Sophomore Greg Kroleski took third in the steeplechase (10:22.63) and senior Dan Chittick finished fourth in the 1500 (4:05.75).
