Revolution routs Los Angeles Galaxy, 4-0

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) -- Shalrie Joseph scored twice as the New England Revolution beat the Los Angeles Galaxy 4-0 on Saturday.
Joseph scored off Jose Cancela's cross in the 44th minute, then converted a penalty kick in the 70th minute as New England (2-2-1) snapped a three-game winless streak and beat Los Angeles (2-3-1) for the second time this season.
Taylor Twellman scored his second goal of the season 5 minutes into the match, and Steve Ralston converted Cancela's cross in the 39th minute for the Revolution's second goal.
Matt Reis made just three saves to post his third shutout for New England, which lost 1-0 to Los Angeles in the 2005 MLS Cup and beat the Galaxy 1-0 in the season opener.
The Galaxy's best scoring chances were early in second half when Landon Donovan missed wide in the 57th minute.
Donovan put a header on net in the 63rd minute, but Reis stopped it.
