PARTICIPANTS Pilot program

Area private schools have signed up to participate in Ohio Educational Choice Scholarship Pilot Program this fall. A story April 30 in The Vindicator listed nine area schools, but the Ohio Department of Education's Web site had not been updated at that time; this is the list of schools in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties as of May 1. The schools have agreed to consider accepting students who secure state vouchers to cover tuition. Because this is an ongoing program, new schools can join at any time. Check the ODE's Web site at edchoice.ohio.gov or call toll-free for information at (877) 644-6338.
