Television: USA (Today-Friday, 4-6 p.m.) and CBS (Saturday-Sunday, 3-6 p.m.).
Last year: Vijay Singh won the last of his 28 PGA Tour titles, taking advantage of Sergio Garcia's record-tying collapse and Jim Furyk's tee shot into the water on the fourth playoff hole. Garcia, who started the final round with a six-stroke lead, dropped out of the playoff on the first hole. He matched the largest final-round collapse in tour history, last accomplished by Greg Norman in the 1996 Masters.
Last week: Chris Couch won the Zurich Classic in New Orleans, chipping in from 55 feet for par on the 18th hole to beat Charles Howell III and Fred Funk by a stroke.
Notes: Tiger Woods is skipping the tournament. ... Masters champion Phil Mickelson tops the field along with Singh, Garcia, Ernie Els, Retief Goosen, Stuart Appleby, David Toms, Jim Furyk and John Daly. ... Toms won the inaugural event in 2003. ... Joey Sindelar won the 2004 tournament for his first tour title since 1990, beating Arron Oberholser on the second hole of a playoff. ... Jay Haas is coming off consecutive Champions Tour victories. Sons Bill and Jay Jr. also are in the field. Jay Jr. earned a spot in Monday qualifying. ... The tour will be in the Dallas area the next two weeks for the Byron Nelson Championship in Irving and the Colonial in Fort Worth.

Ochoa won the 2004 event to become the first Mexican winner in LPGA Tour history. Juli Inkster is the lone U.S. winner. ... The Michelob Ultra Open at Kingsmill is next week in Virginia, followed by the Sybase Classic in New Rochelle, N.Y.

Weibring won his third Champions Tour title, beating Tom Kite and Tom Jenkins by two strokes at Greystone Golf and Country Club.Last week: Jay Haas won his second straight Champions Tour title, closing with a 7-under 65 for a two-stroke victory in the FedEx Kinko's Classic in Lakeway, Texas. Haas won the Legends of Golf the previous week in Georgia.Notes: The tournament is in its first year at Ross Bridge after 14 seasons at Greystone. ... David Edwards finished fourth last week in his first start on the 50-and-over tour. ... The Boeing Championship at Sandestin is next week in Florida.
