Austintown Paper Center 10, Struthers Gridiron 0 -- Danny Costello pitched a no-hitter and struck out 17 of the 22 batters he faced. He walked only two. Costello also hit a three--run homer.
Austintown Home Savings & amp; Loan 5, Lowellville Dan's Auto Service 2 -- Ian Pinkerton went 3-for-4 and drove in the tying and go-ahead runs. Jon Deamicis, Josh Miller and Tommy Smith combined on the pitching win. Smith struck out the side in the seventh for the save. James Evans and Dominic Pellegrini each had two hits. For Lowellville, Matt Zackase went 2-for-3. Tom Lisko pitched five scoreless innings.
Austintown Paper Center 9, Boardman PHD Manufacturing 5 -- Paper Center scored eight runs in the sixth inning, including Josh Foster's three-run homer. Anthony Savko added two hits and two RBIs, while Mike Currao also singled twice. Ryan Nicholson and Danny Costello combined on the pitching win. Cameron Short doubled and scored twice for Boardman while Jason Williams scored three runs.
