Man gets 6 years for robbery, assault
WARREN -- A 22-year-old city man has pleaded guilty to three felony charges in a robbery and has been sentenced to six years in prison.
Calvin Clark III of 2002 Union St. S.W. pleaded guilty to charges of aggravated robbery with a firearms specification and two counts of felonious assault with firearms specifications. Judge W. Wyatt McKay handed down the sentence in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court recently.
Warren police said Clark and two other men robbed a 28-year-old Swallow Street man of his pants and money at gunpoint behind the victim's house on Oct. 30, 2005.
A police report said two of the victim's friends were shot at as they pulled into the driveway of the Swallow Street residence, and four bullets struck the vehicle. No injuries were reported.
