COLLEGE TRACK Liberty's White has top MAC sprint time
She recently ran an 11.58 100 meters for Bowling Green.

Jessica White, a sophomore for the Bowling Green State University women's track team from Liberty High, is evolving into one of the top sprinters in the Mid-American Conference.
White, the daughter of Bernard and Diane White, ran the second-fastest 100-meter dash (11.58 seconds) in school history at the All-Ohio Championships April 8.
White's time also ranks second in the MAC this season, only .05 seconds behind Patrice Beasley of Eastern Michigan.
White and Beasley will be squaring off in MAC Championships May 11-13 at Toledo.
White, who is majoring in accounting, also is ranked No. 12 in the 200, with a 24.60 at Baylor March 25.
Beasley also is No. 1 in the 200 (23.91) in the MAC.
White set school record
White also was a standout during the indoor season, setting the school record in the 60 (7.51) at the All-Ohio Indoor Championships.
She also had a personal-best time in the indoor 200 (24.6) -- just .22 seconds off the school record.
White got off to a strong start last season as a freshman. She placed sixth in the 60 at the All-Ohio Championships with a season-best time of 7.71 seconds.
And during last year's outdoor season, she won the 200 at the BGSU Invitational in 25.64, while also placing fifth in the 100 at the Hillsdale Relays in a season-best 12.37.
White is one of three Youngstown-area performers on the Falcons' team. The others are Erica Wilson (Rayen) and Colleen Moran (Poland). Wilson is a sophomore jumper and Moran a freshman distance runner.
Wilson wins high jump
Wilson had a good showing at the Ohio Invitational April 1, winning the high jump (5 feet, 1.5 inches) and placing sixth in the long jump (17-2). White also won the 100 in that meet.
Wilson also was seventh in the high jump (5-5) at the Kansas Relays on April 23.
Last year, Wilson turned in the second-best long jump in school history (19-5 1/2) at the All-Ohio Championships to place second.
She was also fifth in the long jump (5.58 meters) and fifth in the high jump (1.70 meters) at the MAC Indoor Championships.
Wilson is the daughter of Cornell and Terrica Wilson and is majoring in sports management.
Moran has personal best
Moran turned a personal-best in the 5-kilometer run (18:48.23) for eighth place at the All-Ohio Championships. She also was fifth in the 1500 (5:02.73) at the Ohio Invitational.
Moran, who also runs cross country, was a top-seven runner for the Falcons for six of the seven meets this season.
She had a personal-best time in the 6-kilometer (25:02) and a season-best time in the 5K (19:02).
Moran is the daughter of Jim and Kathy Moran and is majoring in education/pre-law.
