A summary of recent criminal activity in Canfield City and Austintown Township:
CANFIELD
April 22
Drug abuse: A 21-year-old New Brighton, Pa., man was arrested on East Main Street on two counts of drug abuse, obtaining, possessing and concealing after police found a plastic bag on him containing 20 grams of marijuana and 28 pills believed to be Vicodin.
April 25
Burglary: A burglary is under investigation at a home in the 400 block of Fairground Boulevard. The female owner and a woman and her brother that live at the house reported jewelry and eight guitars missing from their rooms and the living room.
April 27
Stolen vehicle: A 2000 Mercury Sable was stolen from the driveway of a home in the 700 block of Blueberry Hill Drive. The keys had been left in the vehicle.

April 24
Criminal damaging: Windows on a 1997 Oldsmobile were damaged at Pete and Charlie's Pub, 4176 Mahoning Ave.
Drug offense: Three women were arrested at Chippers, 5 N. Edgehill Ave., on drug-related charges.
Theft: $40.04 worth of gas was stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damaging: A BB gun was damaged on a front bay window at a home in the 500 block of North Turner Road, and a vehicle windshield also was damaged.
Theft: A PlayStation 2 video game was stolen at Speedway, 4401 Kirk Road.
Theft: A 12-foot homemade trailer was stolen from Powerhouse Equipment, 3696 S. Meridian Road.
Theft: A key for a safety deposit box was stolen and $20,000 taken out of a security box at a home in the 60 block of Lexington Place.
April 25
Theft: Five people drove off without paying for gasoline at Sheetz gas station, 5499 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A front window was broken at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
Theft: A Visa card was stolen at Marino's Restaurant, 5423 Mahoning Ave., and charges were made on the card in New Castle, Pa.
Auto theft: A black 2001 Chevrolet S-10 truck was stolen from RPM Motors, 3606 Canfield Road.
Theft: Pills were stolen from an apartment in the 100 block of Compass West apartments.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the driveway at a home in the 4000 block of New Road.
April 26
Criminal damaging: Damage was caused to a vehicle at an apartment in the 500 block of South Raccoon Road.
Theft from auto: Four DVD movies were stolen from a vehicle at McDonald's, 5524 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A juvenile broke light bulbs in the carport in the 4000 block of Westchester Drive.
April 27
Property damaging: A bathroom was damaged at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
Disorderly conduct, drug abuse: A man was arrested on North Wickliffe Circle on charges of disorderly conduct and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Theft: $15.23 of gasoline was stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Criminal damaging: Twenty-two bushes were reported damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Elm Trace Street.
Burglary: A man was arrested in a burglary at a home in the 100 block of South Four Mile Run Road.
Attempted burglary: Would-be thieves attempted to enter a home in the 4000 block of Barrington Drive through a kitchen window.
Theft from auto: A JVC compact-disc player was stolen from a vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Washington Square.
April 28
Attempted theft: A suspect attempted to reach into a cash register at Aldi's, 5863 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: $105 in cash was stolen from Victoria House, 5295 Ashley Circle.
Theft: Gasoline was stolen from Shell True North, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
April 29
Criminal damaging: A window and screen were damaged at a home in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
Burglary: A burglary took place at an apartment in the 4000 block of Washington Square.
Disorderly conduct: An Elyria man was arrested at the Comfort Inn, 5425 Clarkins Drive, on a charge of disorderly conduct.
Drug offense: A Leetonia man was charged with drug abuse of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and possessing dangerous drugs at Get-N-Go, Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: An employee's purse was stolen by two men at a BP gas station, 890 N. Canfield-Niles Road. The purse was recovered at Wal-Mart with $35 and a prescription missing.
Robbery: A carton of cigarettes was stolen from McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Theft from auto: A Pioneer in-dash AM-FM/CD stereo was stolen from a vehicle at Stag Motor Cars, 220 S. Meridian Road.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle door and mirror were damaged at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A man stole cigarettes from Shell Oil, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Cigarettes were taken from Country Fair, 1143 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
April 30
Auto theft: A male suspect took a vehicle from a home in the 60 block of North Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: Fifty feet of lawn was damaged at a home in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle was damaged in the 6000 block of Silica Road.
Theft: A Motorola Razor cell phone was stolen from Buffalo Wild Wings, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: Damage to a lawn mower was reported in the 100 block of Carnegie Avenue.
Theft: A man paid for gas then overpumped the amount he paid and left at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Theft: Cigarettes were taken from Sun Merchant, 3605 Mahoning Ave.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at an apartment in the 1600 block of Fountain Square.
