Man faces charges after crashing truck
WEST MIDDLESEX, Pa. -- A New Wilmington man faces several traffic violation citations after crashing his truck in a remote campground road near here.
Pennsylvania State Police said Brett McCune, no age given, of Edgebrook Lane, was not hurt in the crash that police believe occurred at 2 a.m. Saturday.
Police said McCune was speeding along Pa. Route 18 when he apparently fell asleep and his truck went over an embankment and was airborne for about 120 feet. The Ford F150 hit the ground and left a large divot before breaking off the limb of a large pine tree.
Police said McCune did not report the crash until 10 hours later.
