Mahoning Commons artists plan Spring Open Studio and Art Sale
YOUNGSTOWN -- Artists of the Mahoning Commons will hold their third annual Spring Open Studio and Art Sale from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Ward Bakery building, 1024 Mahoning Ave., across from the U-Haul building, at Glenwood Avenue.
More than 25 area artists will open their working studio spaces for art viewing. Admission is free.
The sale will feature sculpture by Tony Armeni, pottery by Lynn Cardwell, pottery by Marianne Cox-Limmer, photography by Gabriel Crish, handcrafted mirrors by Pat Crowe, paintings and jewelry by Mary Farragher, lamp-work beads by Robyn Maas, ceramics by Sharon Meenachan, jewelry by Marcie Roepke-Applegate, paintings by Lisa Salcedo, hand-painted silk accessories by Tracy Segreti, fused glass and photography by Fred Shepherd, drawings by Shannon Tesone, paintings by Jason Van Hoose, photography by Pat Hyland, jewelry and photography by Angela Pandolph, paintings by Jennifer Hill, prints by Jason Vaughn, sculpture by Brian Morgan, ceramics and leather work by Samantha Grbinick, paintings by Jim Cliff, photography by Erika Untch, sculpture by Jim Shaner and jewelry by Gail Shaner.
Bailiwick Framing will have local art on display.
J.L. Treharn & amp; Co. Inc., makers of fine Early American reproduction furniture, will conduct tours at 2 and 4 p.m. both days.
A Chinese auction also will take place.
