Ashley Gauthier, Mr. Messenger to be married
XYOUNGSTOWN -- Atty. James and Barbara Messenger, 1811 Bears Den Road, are announcing the engagement of their son, William Messenger, 1200 Harbour Drive, Stafford, Va., and Ashley Gauthier, also of Stafford.
The bride-elect is a daughter of George Gauthier, 63 New Dunstable Road, Nashua, N.H., and the late Linda Gauthier.
June 3 has been chosen by the couple as the date for their 5 p.m. open wedding at St. John's Episcopal Church. An evening reception will be held by invitation at the Youngstown Country Club.
Miss Gauthier graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Mass., with a bachelor's degree in philosophy, and from Pepperdine University School of Law in Malibu, Calif., with a juris doctorate. She is an editorial counsel with U.S. News and World Report in Washington and an adjunct professor of journalism law at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va., and the American University School of Communication in Washington.
Mr. Messenger earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Ohio University at Athens and received his juris doctorate from George Washington University in Washington. He is an attorney in Springfield, Va.
