Sikora sets pace for Boardman



BARBERTON -- Kevin Sikora had two hits, including a double, and drove in two runs to lead Boardman High to a 3-1 victory over Cuyahoga Falls in a non-league baseball game Saturday.
Corey Keller also had two hits, including a double, for the Spartans (15-6), who scored one run in the fourth inning, to break a scoreless tie, and added two more in the fifth.
Dom Silvestri (2-1) went the first six innings, allowing one run, and Corey Susany pitched the seventh for his fourth save.
Warren Harding 8-1, Hudson 4-12
HUDSON -- Warren Harding hit 11 singles in the opener and Tom Popadak struck out 10 to win his fifth game.
Deandre Ware, Popadak and Willie Sekula all had two hits for the Raiders. Caullen Owens hit a two-run single.
In the second game, Hudson scored three runs in the first inning and put the game away with four each in the fourth and fifth.
Ware and Greg Patterson hit doubles for the Raiders (14-7).
Stow 8, Poland 6
STRUTHERS -- Mark Turnbull's two-run single was one of Poland's five hits. The Bulldogs are 14-4.
For Stow (15-3), Matt Gleespan had three hits.
