Boback-Hoplin wedding planned for late August

XMINNEAPOLIS -- Kristen Boback and Nels Hoplin, both of 2706 Humboldt Ave. S., are announcing their engagement and plans for their summer wedding.
The couple have chosen 4 p.m. Aug. 26 for their marriage in Como Park, St. Paul, Minn., where a reception will be held afterward. Invitations will be issued.
The bride-elect is a daughter of Corinne Boback, 1981 Wolosyn Circle, Poland, and David Boback, 2859 Gregory Ave., Youngstown. Parents of the future groom are Mark and Lesley Hoplin, 238 Basswood Trail, Glenwood, Minn.
Miss Boback graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn., with a bachelor's degree and from the University of Chicago with a master's in social sciences. She is a youth-development coordinator with Northwest Youth and Family Services in Shoreview, Minn.
Mr. Hoplin earned a bachelor's degree in economics at St. Olaf College and is a manager with Wells Fargo in St. Paul.
