KINDERGARTEN Registrations

In most cases, children must be 5 years old by Sept. 30 and have proof of proper immunizations, a birth certificate, Social Security card and proof of residency at the time of registration. Proof of legal custody also may be required.
Springfield Elementary School: Call (330) 542-3722 between April 3 and April 21 to make an appointment for kindergarten screening. Screenings will be April 25 and 26 at the elementary building, 10580 Main St., New Middletown.
Jackson-Milton: Registration will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 10 through 13 in the Jackson-Milton Elementary building, 14110 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson. Proof of residency must come from each of two lists. List one includes house closing papers, deed, mortgage documents, building permit, apartment/home rental lease, rental agreement, or notarized parent residency affidavit, available at the elementary office. List two includes two current utility bills, two current charge statements, driver's license or tax statement.
