Auction to be benefit for education fund

YOUNGSTOWN -- Mill Creek Chapter of the American Business Women's Association will sponsor a Chinese auction as a benefit for the chapter's education fund.
The public event will be held at 12:30 p.m. April 2 at St. Matthias Church Hall, 2800 Shady Run Road.
Doors will open for the event at 12:30 p.m. and drawings will begin at 3.
Admission is $4, and tickets will be available at the door and will include bidding sheets.
More than 100 items will be auctioned, and there will be three cash door prizes of $150, $100 and $50. There also will be special raffles, a 50-50 drawing and free refreshments. The prize for one of the many special drawings will be for a handmade quilt.
