2 men facing drug charges

LAKE MILTON -- Two men arrested on drug-related charges here will be arraigned in Mahoning County Area Court, Austintown.
Jamie Noe, 19, of Grandview Avenue, is charged with trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. He will be arraigned April 3.
Richard Shaffer, 20, of Southington, is charged with carrying a concealed weapon and possession of drugs. He will be arraigned Monday.
The men were arrested Thursday evening at Noe's Milton Township apartment after a six-month investigation by the Mahoning Valley Law Enforcement Task Force.
Also arrested on a passing-bad-checks warrant generated by Boardman police was Hubert Noe Sr., 45, of Newton Falls. He will be arraigned Tuesday in Mahoning County Court, Boardman. After booking at the county jail, the men were released on court summonses.
Craig Beach and Milton and Jackson Township police received numerous complaints about the activity at Noe's apartment, because of the proximity to the Lake Milton State Park, said Bob Patton, supervisor of the task force drug unit.
Task force members seized $700, a rifle, 6 ounces of suspected marijuana, suspected heroin and pills, several scales and drug paraphernalia.
