PITTSBURGH -- Chad Kilger scored on a penalty shot with 6:51 remaining and Mikael Tellqvist made 21 saves in the Toronto Maple Leafs' 1-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins that was delayed twice by power failures Sunday night.
The blackouts forced Tellqvist to wait a little longer to post his second career shutout. Both play stoppages came in the second period when the game was still scoreless.
Penguins president Ken Sawyer said there also was a small fire in the building, apparently related to the electrical outages. The blaze was at an electrical panel by a ramp near the seating area, but no evacuations were necessary.
With the game still scoreless late in the third period, Pittsburgh rookie Sidney Crosby burst in alone on Tellqvist. His low wrist shot sneaked through Tellqvist's pads but skittered wide.
The Maple Leafs immediately countered and sprung Kilger on a breakaway down the left wing. As he moved to the middle, Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi tripped him to draw the penalty shot.
Kilger started slowly toward goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, then picked up speed and backed him up deep in his net.
Kilger wristed a hard shot inside the left post for his 14th goal of the season.
Mighty Ducks 4, Blue Jackets 3
COLUMBUS -- Joffrey Lupul scored to snap a third-period tie, and Anaheim rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat Columbus.
Francois Beauchemin, acquired midseason from Columbus for Sergei Fedorov, had a goal and assist for Anaheim, which has won eight of 11 to get within striking distance of eighth-place Vancouver in the Western Conference playoff race.
Travis Moen and Corey Perry also scored for the Ducks, and Scott Niedermayer and Teemu Selanne had two assists each.
Nikolai Zherdev, Dan Fritsche and Rick Nash had goals for the Blue Jackets, losers of four straight and 10 of 14.
