XNEW MIDDLETOWN -- Elizabeth Kristina VanArsdale, a daughter of Robert and Deborah VanArsdale, all of 368 Center St., Struthers, and Justin David Sargent, 150 Perry St., Struthers, a son of Dave Sargent and Mary Ann Sargent, both of New Middletown, were married Feb. 18 at Free Methodist Community Church.
The 4:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by the Rev. Hal Haire, who was assisted by the bride's father.
After a reception at Avion on the Water in Canfield, the couple honeymooned in Gatlinburg, Tenn. They live in Struthers.
The bride's strapless, A-line ivory gown featured a sheer champagne overlay and was enhanced with rhinestones and pearls.
Champagne-colored gowns were worn by the groom's sister-in-law and honor attendant, Julie Sargent, and the bridesmaids, Katherine VanArsdale, sister of the bride; Tanya Sargent, the groom's sister-in-law; April Jacobsen; Rebecca Jones; and Laurie Johnston. Flower girls were Hannah Green, Hope Swiger and the groom's niece, Sydney Sargent.
Trevor Ward served as best man, and groomsmen were Sam and Ryan Sargent, brothers of the groom; Jay Roddy; and Jared and Mark VanArsdale, the bride's brothers. Ring bearer was the groom's nephew, Tanner Sargent.
The bride attended Youngstown State University.
The groom is a laborer with Nationwide Industrial Supply in Boardman.
