55-PLUS CLUBMINERAL RIDGE
XThe 55-Plus Club of Mineral Ridge will meet at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church. Diane Garthwaite of Park Vista Retirement Community will be the guest speaker. Afterward members will dine out and play cards.
AARP 2520
XPoland Chapter 2520, AARP, will meet at 1 p.m. Monday at Poland United Methodist Church, Route 224, following the 12:30 p.m. director's meeting. The speaker will be Pam Rogers of Home Instead Senior Care. Members are asked to take items for the Poland Pantry.
AARP 4545
XBoardman South Chapter 4545, AARP, will meet at 11:30 a.m. April 6 at the Holiday Inn South in Boardman. Elmer Haidle will preside, and the program will be presented by a speaker from the Park Vista Retirement Community. The cost of the meal is $12.50; reservations must be made by March 30 by sending a check indicating a choice of roast beef or baked scrod to Helen Day, 543 West Glen Drive, Boardman, OH 44512, or by calling (330) 782-2816. Birthdays and anniversaries will be observed. Guests and new members are welcome.

GIRARD
XGirard Seniors will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the senior center with Bill Schumm presiding. Members are reminded to take wrapped gifts to be used for table games and also candy to fill Easter baskets at Emmanuel Center.
HOLY FAMILY
XHoly Family Seniors will meet at 11:30 a.m. Monday at the K. of C. Hall in Poland. Pizza, snacks and coffee or tea will be served with Gloria Raney and Margaret Zuppo serving as hostesses. There will be a 50-50 drawing, and cards and bingo will be played. Canned goods and paper products will be collected for the Poland Pantry.

XNorth Jackson Keenagers will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at St. James Church in North Jackson. Members are asked to take a covered dish. Tammy Delliquadri will be the guest speaker on the topic of nutrition and fitness.

XWilda Clifton will preside at the 11 a.m. meeting of Liberty Senior Citizens on Wednesday in the fellowship hall at Church Hill United Methodist Church. The program, "Songs by Two" will be presented by Pete Rukenbrod at the keyboard and Jay Dee Paner, vocalist. Hosts will be Helen Minnick, Patty DeMas, Grace Prystash, and Anna and Harry Dennison. Those attending are to take a sack lunch; beverages will be provided. Guests are welcome.

XLocal 1199 Retirees will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the union hall. A guest speaker from Forum Health will discuss plans for the year and pensions. A Chinese auction will follow.

XRetirees of Local 2243 USWA Copperweld Steel, S.O.A.R. Chapter 1-28-10, will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Local 1375 union hall, 684 N. Park Ave., Warren. A representative of Ohio Consumer Council will be the guest speaker.
NILES VALLEY
XNiles Valley Seniors will meet for lunch at noon Mondayat Vernon's Cafe, Route 422, Niles. The guest speaker will be Rick Olston from the Humana Insurance Co. No reservations are required.
PERI 18
XPublic Employee Retirees Inc., Mahoning Chapter 18, will hold a luncheon and meeting at noon April 4 at the Italian-American Veterans Centre on Meridian Road, Youngstown. The guest speaker will be former state Sen. Harry Meshel. The menu will be stuffed pork chops, au gratin potatoes, glazed carrots, salad, rolls, cheesecake, coffee and tea. The cost is $7 at the door. XHarriet Moschella will preside when members of St. Christine Senior Citizens meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Gutman Hall. Verna Dues and Mary Jo Theis will give reports, and Theresa Vivacqua, Peg Mohrman and Angie Resetti will serve as hostesses. Pizza will be served, there will be a door prize and 50-50 drawing, and bingo will be played.
