Boat club holds dinner-dance, installation

CANFIELD -- An annual Commodore's Dinner and Dance was held by Lake Milton Boat Club on March 11 at Avion on the Water.
A highlight of the event was the installation of officers for the 2006 boating season.
Inducted into office for the club's 57th year were the following: Brian Williams, commodore; Bob Appleman, vice commodore; Dave Lowman, treasurer; and Dave Schialdone, secretary.
There are 135 family memberships in the club, which works closely with Lake Milton Office of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to ensure safe boating practices.
