Schimpf-Burkett engagement is being announced

XMINERAL RIDGE -- Tiffany Schimpf and Michael Burkett, both of 3886 Niles-Carver Road, are announcing their engagement.
The couple have planned an open wedding for 1 p.m. July 29 at Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, Youngstown. Their evening reception will be held by invitation at Mahoning Country Club in Girard.
Parents of the bride-to-be are George and Pam Schimpf of Girard, and the future groom is a son of Geoffrey Burkett and Darla Burkett, both of Youngstown.
Miss Schimpf is a customer-service representative with West Corp. in Niles. Mr. Burkett is a cook with Ruby Tuesday in Austintown. He will graduate in April from ITT Technical Institute with a degree in information technology.
