Join the fun
Purim will be observed from Monday night to sundown Tuesday. A carnival is planned to usher in the fun.
What: The annual Purim carnival with games, food, raffles and bounce house.
When: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday.
Where: Jewish Community Center, 505 Gypsy Lane, Youngstown.
Details: Children may come in costume. Lunch will be available including hamantaschen, a Purim cookie named for the three-cornered that Haman wore.
Co-sponsors: Congregation Rodef Sholom and Temple El Emeth, both Youngstown; Congregation Ohev Tzedek in Boardman; the Commission for Jewish Education; and JCC.
