Matt Kenseth has momentum in No. 17

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- Matt Kenseth appears to have some momentum riding inside his No. 17 Ford with him so far this season. And it might be a carryover from the 2005 Chase for the Championship. After a disappointing season in which Kenseth fell as low as 24th in the points standings, he rallied to qualify for the 2005 Chase. This season, he is third in the standings after finishing 15th at Daytona and winning the first of two California Speedway races 10 days ago. "I can feel momentum a lot of times but not necessarily from wins," Kenseth said Tuesday.
