YOUNGSTOWN YSU to sponsor 'Love Arm'd' at Ford Theater



YOUNGSTOWN -- Youngstown State University Theater will sponsor "Love Arm'd: Aphra Behn and Her Pen," performed by Karen Eterovich.
The story depicts the life of British writer Aphra Behn (1640-1689). Eterovich uses Behn's words from her plays, poems and novels and includes a selection of music from her time to the present, more than 40 slides and a 17th-century costume which comes together before spectators' eyes. This full production entertains, enlightens and educates.
Eterovich has performed the one-woman show to audiences nationally and internationally including the Bedlam Theatre in Edinburgh, Scotland. She holds a bachelor's degree in theater from the University of Akron and a master's in acting from the University of South Carolina.
The performance of "Love Arm'd" will be Friday at 8 p.m. in Ford Theater, Bliss Hall, in the College of Fine & amp; Performing Arts. The performance is free and open to the public.
