'Clifford the Big Red Dog'coming to Westminster
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. -- The Westminster College Celebrity Series is bringing "Clifford the Big Red Dog Live" to campus at 1 and 6:30 p.m. March 21 in Orr Auditorium. This show presents the well-loved characters from Birdwell Island including Emily Elizabeth, Cleo, T-Bone, Jetta, Charlie and, of course, Clifford, in an energetic spectacle for the whole family. The show celebrates the timeless values of teamwork and friendship with memorable songs, dancing and characters that kids love. Westminster's Orr Auditorium was recently remodeled to include air conditioning, a stage elevator, new carpeting, and re-upholstered seats, along with stage lighting and shell improvements. Wittenberg choirto perform at church
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Wittenberg University Choir will perform at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road, at 3 p.m. Sunday.Under director Donald A. Busarow, the 40-voice group is one of the most traveled college choral groups in the world, having earned rave reviews from critics all over the United States and in Canada, Latin America, Europe and Russia. The choir's repertoire ranges from Renaissance to contemporary music. It includes selections sung in English, Latin, German, Russian, French and Spanish. A variety of works ranging from spirituals to hymns will be performed.

NILES -- Actress Carol Starre-Kmiecik of Lakewood will perform as Clara Barton, founder of the American Red Cross, at the replica of President William McKinley's birth home, 40 S. CLEVELAND -- In honor of Women's History Month, Red Hen Productions will present a staged reading of "This One Thing I Do," the life story of Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Performances will be Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays at 7:30 tonight through March 19 at the Cleveland Arts Theater (located next to the Old Euclid Tavern),11619-23 Euclid Ave. Tickets are $10 ($8 for students). "This One Thing I Do," by Claire Braz-Valentine, takes the audience through the struggle for women's rights from 1901 through the end of Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton's lives.
