Protestant Family Services elects officers



YOUNGSTOWN -- Election of officers took place Feb. 20 when Protestant Family Services had its 35th annual meeting and banquet at Zion Lutheran Church, 3300 Canfield Road.
Charles Rudge was elected president of the board. Serving with him will be Judy Elliott, vice president; Lynn Doyle, secretary; and Mike Kapics, treasurer. Newly elected board members are Waymond Grace and Bette Patterson, who join June Ewing, Napoleon Hill, Christine White, Mary Grace Camsmith, Philip Denny and Fred Bailey.
Committee members are Marie Bailey, Kim Jackson, John Dellick and Carol Lunger.
The Rev. Dale Giffin of Zion Lutheran conducted the installation. Rudge and Jackie Burley, family services director, welcomed clergy, volunteers and supporters.
Protestant Family Service offers a food pantry and provides emergency utility assistance, training in budgeting and saving, referrals to other agencies, school clothing and shoes, medications, furniture and used major appliances.
