KINDERGARTEN Registrations

In most cases, children must be 5 years old by Sept. 30 and have proof of proper immunizations, a birth certificate, Social Security card and proof of residency at the time of registration. Proof of legal custody also may be required.
Joseph Badger: Kindergarten registration will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 14 at Hartford Elementary School, 3557 state Route 7, Hartford, and from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 15 at Gustavus Elementary School, 4224 state Route 87, Farmdale. Additional information is available by calling the schools: Hartford at (330) 772-2401 and Gustavus at (330) 876-3610 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays.Ellsworth Elementary: Kindergarten registration will be from 9:45 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. March 27-29 at the elementary school at 6194 South Salem-Warren Road. Call the school at (330) 538-3663 to schedule an appointment. Children are to be present at registration for screening. Western Reserve schools offer open enrollment.Youngstown: Kindergarten registrations will be accepted March 20-24 at each elementary school. Times for each school are: 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at Bunn, Cleveland and Taft; 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at Haddow and West; 9-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3 p.m. at North and Williamson; 9:30-11:30 a.m. and 2-4 p.m. at Harding; 9 a.m. to noon and 2-3:30 p.m. at Kirkmere; and 9-11:30 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. at Sheridan.
