Lake Catholic prevails over Lakeview, 61-50

ASHTABULA -- Lakeview High's 20-10 lead was offset by Lake Catholic's 18-0 run, but the Bulldogs pulled within 36-35 in the third quarter before the Cougars finally prevailed, 61-50, in the girls Division II district semifinal at Edgewood High Thursday night.
Junior Chelsea Butler had 16 points and 10 rebounds for Lakeview (17-6), which loses two seniors, including Lauren McCumber who was held to four points. Alynn Martin added 12 points for the Bulldogs.
Dana Radley's 16 points paced Lake Catholic (12-11).
