CANFIELD CITY
Feb. 21
Theft: A couple reported two attempted fraudulent transactions on their credit card.
Feb. 22
Theft: Three musical instruments were reported missing from Canfield Middle School, 42 Wadsworth St.
Arrest: Police arrested a 26-year-old Salem man for improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Feb. 23
Drug offense: Police arrested an 18-year-old Canfield man on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia on N. Briarcliff Drive and Bradford Drive. Police found marijuana and rolling papers in the suspect's car.
Feb. 25
Drug offense: Police arrested a 48-year-old Canfield man on charges of drug abuse and drug paraphernalia on Herbert Road after finding marijuana in his car.
Drug offense: A 29-year-old Canton man was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia on W. Main Street after police found a bong in his car.

Feb. 20
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at a home in the 100 block of Innwood Street.
Criminal damaging: A window was damaged at Family Video, 4385 Kirk Road.
Tampering with coin machines: Laundry machines were tampered with at the apartments in the 1000 block of Compass West.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged in the 1000 block of S. Meridian Road.
Theft: Two credit cards were stolen at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Ave.
Counterfeit Currency: A counterfeit $20 bill was passed at Taco Bell, 4523 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Rings, a bracelet and sunglasses were stolen at Wedgewood Lanes, 1741 S. Raccoon Road.
Feb. 21
Theft: Prescription medications were stolen and a man was arrested on a felony drug warrant at Hillbrook Apartments, 50 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: An Ohio dealer license plate was stolen from Blue Ribbon Motors, 4004 Mahoning Ave.
Breaking and entering: Items were taken from buses in a fenced in area at the transportation office of the Mahoning County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities, 4795 Woodridge Avenue.
Theft: An Anchor cigar truck was entered and boxes of cigarettes were taken at Colla's Market, 5509 Mahoning Ave.
Auto theft: A Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from the Austintown Plaza, 6000 Mahoning Avenue.
Criminal mischief: Eggs were thrown at a house in the 100 block of N. Beverly Avenue.
Theft: Fuel was stolen from Certified Oil, 825 N. Niles-Canfield Road.
Theft: Meat was stolen at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Feb. 22
Drug offense: A Youngstown man was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a silver metal pipe in his vehicle at state Route 46 and Interstate 80.
Theft: Clothing was stolen from Wedgewood Coin Laundry, 4286 New Road, after being left unattended in a dryer.
Complaint: A tattoo business was being operated without a license at a home in the 10 block of S. Edgehill Avenue.
Breaking and entering: BP Oil, 3107 Canfield-Niles Road, was broken into.
Criminal damaging: A man was arrested for criminal damaging at a home in the 1000 block of Bexley Drive.
Theft: A room charge was not paid for at the Fairfield Inn, 801 N. Canfield-Niles Road.
Drug offense: A Youngstown woman was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of crack cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Feb. 23
Theft: A 1978 Chevrolet Blazer was stolen from a home in the 400 block of N. Four Mile Run Road.
Criminal damaging: Damage to equipment was reported at a home on N. Four Mile Run Road.
Theft: $880 was stolen at the Auto Zone, 5430 Mahoning Avenue.
Recovered property: An Xbox from a burglary in Sharon, Pa., was recovered at a home in the 100 block of N. Kimberly Avenue.
Criminal damaging: The windshield on a vehicle was damaged at a residence in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Feb. 24
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of S. Raccoon Road.
Vandalism: A mirror on a vehicle was damaged at Regal Cinema, 6020 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: A man was arrested for theft at Wal-Mart, 6001 Mahoning Avenue.
Feb. 25
Drug offense: Two men were arrested on drug charges at Chipper's Lounge, 5 N. Edgehill Avenue, including an Austintown man charged with possession of cocaine, trafficking in cocaine, drug abuse and permitting drug abuse and a Girard man who was charged with drug abuse and possession of cocaine.
Criminal damaging: A home was hit by BBs in the 100 block of DeHoff Drive.
Drug offense: A Berlin Center man was arrested on charges of drug abuse and possession of drug paraphernalia at Mahoning Avenue and Raccoon Road. He had marijuana and rolling papers.
Feb. 26
Theft from auto: A Pioneer compact disc player was stolen from a vehicle in the 900 block of Compass West apartments.
Attempted breaking and entering: A bathroom window was broken out at McQuaid's, 702 N. Meridian Road.
