HORIZON LEAGUE TOURNAMENT Detroit, Illinois-Chicago advance to quarterfinals
The Titans routed Cleveland State and UIC beat Wright State.

DETROIT -- Ben Green scored a career-high 15 points and Jon Goode added 14 to help Detroit rout Cleveland State 92-58 on Tuesday in the first round of the Horizon League tournament.
The victory sends the Titans (16-15), the tournament's No. 5 seed, to Friday's second round in Milwaukee.
J'Nathan Bullock scored 17 points and Raheem Moss and Carlos English had 11 each for the eighth-seeded Vikings (10-18), who lost to Detroit for the fifth time in six tournament meetings.
The Titans outscored Cleveland State 17-4 in the first 6 minutes of the second half to push their lead past 20 points. Chuck Bailey had 13 points and a career-high 16 rebounds as Detroit outrebounded the Vikings 40-19 and outscored them 40-22 in the paint.
Detroit also got 10 points apiece from Brandon Cotton and Torvoris Baker.
Ill.-Chicago 77, Wright St. 64
CHICAGO -- Rocky Collum scored 21 points on 6-of-6 shooting to lead Illinois-Chicago over Wright State.
Justin Bowen scored 19 points for Illinois-Chicago (16-14), which used 56 percent shooting in the first half to build a 44-27 lead at the break. The Flames also made 28 of 29 free throw attempts in the game. Danijel Zoric and Josh Mayo scored 14 points and 12 points, respectively, in the win.
DaShaun Wood led the Wright State attack, scoring 17 points with seven assists. Wood connected on two 3-pointers and added three steals for the Raiders (13-15). Tyrone Scott and Jordan Pleiman chipped in 13 points each for Wright State, but the Raiders could not overcome the 17-point halftime deficit, despite outscoring Illinois-Chicago in the second.
The win advanced the Flames to the tournament's second round, where they will meet Wisconsin-Green Bay Friday.
