POLAND
Feb. 22
Arrest: After stopping a vehicle for an equipment violation, officers took a 47-year-old Lowellville man into custody near state Route 616 and Hill Drive. The man was wanted on a felony warrant charging him with failure to appear in court on one count of violation of a court order.
Theft: A man in the 600 block of North Main Street noticed someone had removed two numbers from a post bearing his address.
BOARDMAN
Feb. 22
Theft/misuse of a credit card: A Boardman man reported two credit cards stolen from his residence and used at several businesses.
Counterfeit: An employee at Wal-Mart, 1300 Doral Drive, told police she received counterfeit money.
Criminal mischief: A man discovered his residence, in the 300 block of Indianola Road, had been shot with paintballs.
Drugs: After stopping his vehicle near Sears in the Southern Park Mall, police arrested a 24-year-old Boardman man on a felony charge of possession of drugs.
Stolen property: Officers conducted a traffic stop near Glenwood Avenue and Midlothian Boulevard and took a Youngstown man, 39, into custody. He faced a felony count of receiving stolen property. Police said his vehicle had a stolen license plate.
Theft/forgery: A Boardman woman reported a check stolen, and said that it was cashed at an unknown location.
Stolen property: After pulling over a vehicle near Rulli Bros., 5780 South Ave., police charged a 43-year-old Youngstown man with receiving stolen property. Authorities accused the man of having stolen license plates on his truck.
Theft: Police arrested a 29-year-old Cleveland woman on a felony theft charge after clothing was stolen from Dillard's in the Southern Park Mall.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 90 block of Romaine Avenue noticed a driver's-side window on her vehicle was damaged.
Criminal mischief: A man in the 30 block of Rockdale Avenue discovered damage to his car.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 6800 block of Tanglewood Drive noticed damage to her vehicle's rear window.
Theft: A woman called police after discovering a gold chain missing from her home in the 2000 block of Wolosyn Circle.

Criminal damaging/vandalism: Someone damaged two pickup trucks, one belonging to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, at an industrial park on McClurg Road.
Vandalism: Someone used a BB or pellet gun to shoot a window of an Army vehicle at the Southern Park Mall.
Bad check: An employee at Adamas Jewelry & amp; Gifts, 8391 Market St., reported receiving a bad $104.81 check.
Bad check: A woman in the 60 block of Melrose Avenue told police she got a $150 bad check.
Theft: A woman reported the theft of a trash bin from her driveway in the 200 block of Griswold Drive.
Criminal damaging: Two men in the 400 block of Rockdale Avenue discovered damage to their cars from a BB or a pellet gun.
Criminal damaging: A woman in the 6800 block of Paxton Road reported her vehicle was vandalized.
Theft/misuse of a credit card: A woman in the 8100 block of Stadler Avenue reported her credit card was stolen and was used to make various purchases.
Thefts: Property was stolen from Kohl's, 383 Boardman-Poland Road, Dollar General, 859 E. Midlothian Blvd., and Target, 417 Boardman-Poland Road. Police charged a 37-year-old New Springfield woman with the Kohl's theft and charged a 46-year-old Youngstown with the Target theft. The report says no one has yet been charged with the Dollar General theft.
Drug abuse: Police picked up a Cleveland woman, 29, near U.S. Route 224 and California Avenue. She faced one felony count each of receiving stolen property and drug abuse.
Theft: A 48-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested at the J.C. Penney store in the Southern Park Mall and charged with one felony count of theft.
Feb. 24
Theft: A man in the 300 block of Indianola Road told police that license plates registered to him were being used unlawfully.
Burglary: Police arrested a Boardman woman, 30, on a burglary charge after a woman in the 6000 block of Applecrest Court discovered her residence was broken into.
Assault: A man called police after saying a student on a school bus assaulted the victim on Stratmore Avenue.
Auto theft: Someone reported a company-owned vehicle stolen at The Car Wash Inc., 8525 South Ave.
Theft: Merchandise was stolen from the J.C. Penney store and Dillard's.
Theft: Boardman police picked up a Niles man, 22, in Niles who was wanted in the township on a felony theft count.
Arrest: Police picked up a 19-year-old Youngstown man in the 4500 block of Rush Boulevard. He faced charges of failure to comply with the orders of a police officer, having no operator's license and displaying fictitious license plates.
Theft: Police charged a 45-year-old Salem woman, 45, with theft and receiving stolen property. She was arrested at the J.C. Penney store.
Drugs: Officers cited a 20-year-old Centerville, Ohio, man and an 18-year-old Hazel Park, Mich., man at the Red Roof Inn, 1051 Tiffany Blvd., on charges of possession of marijuana.
Feb. 25
Aggravated menacing: A Boardman man told police someone threatened to shoot him during a dispute regarding a parking space at a Shell True North station, 998 E. Western Reserve Road.
Assault: Two men reported being assaulted while at the J.C. Penney store.
Theft: A woman reported property stolen while at Family Dollar, 7334 Market St.
Criminal damaging: A Boardman man reported his vehicle's driver's-side door was kicked and dented while he was at Wal-Mart.
Theft: A woman at Chuck E. Cheese, 521 Boardman-Poland Road, discovered her purse had been stolen.
Theft: Police arrested a 20-year-old Youngstown man on a theft charge. He was accused of stealing clothing from Kaufmann's in the Southern Park Mall.
Stolen property: Police arrested a Youngstown woman, 59, and charged her with receiving stolen property after saying she had merchandise in her purse that had been taken from Wal-Mart.
Vandalism: Someone kicked in a door to a room at the Red Roof Inn.
Arrest: During an investigation, officers apprehended a 24-year-old Boardman woman after learning she was wanted on a warrant from Youngstown accusing her of falsification.
Feb. 26
Weapon: While investigating a possible intoxicated driver at the Red Roof Inn, police arrested a 49-year-old Boardman man on felony charges of carrying a concealed weapon and being a felon in possession of a firearm after saying they found a loaded gun under the vehicle's driver's seat.
Recovered property: Someone reported to police finding a vehicle that belonged to a Ferncliff Avenue man.
Theft: Merchandise was stolen from Dick's Sporting Goods, 1280 Doral Drive.
Criminal damaging: A Youngstown man discovered damage to his car while he was in the Burger King drive-through, 841 Boardman-Poland Road.
Citation: Boardman police cited a 26-year-old Warren man on a charge of asking for money without a vendor's permit.
Arrest: Officers picked up an 18-year-old Youngstown woman during a traffic stop. She was wanted on a felony warrant charging her with assault and probation violation.
