GIRARD
Feb. 26
Threats: A Lincoln Avenue woman told police her estranged husband made a series of threatening phone calls.
Breaking and entering: A man in the 700 block of Mosier Road returned to his residence and found a rear door had been kicked in. It was undetermined if anything was stolen.
LIBERTY
Feb. 21
Theft: Someone entered a fenced-in area at Fagen's Building Center, 6792 Belmont Ave., and took seven fire extinguishers.
Theft: An employee at Psycare Inc., 2980 Belmont Ave., discovered three or four business checks were missing.
Breaking and entering: Someone broke the glass and entered Punky's Pit Stop, 6670 Belmont Ave., through a front door.
Feb. 22
Assault: An employee at ABC Day Care and Learning Center, 227 E. Liberty St., reported another woman pushed her. The victim suffered a fractured right wrist as she struck a side of the building.
Criminal damaging: A worker at Forum Health, 3351 Belmont Ave., discovered someone used a key to cause $250 worth of damage to the finish on her vehicle's driver's-side rear door.
Domestic violence: Police arrested a Youngstown woman, 24, and a man, 38, at his Trumbull Court residence and charged both with domestic violence. The man alleged his girlfriend bit his shoulder during an argument and that he bit the woman in retaliation. Both were treated for bite wounds.
Feb. 23
Theft: Police made two arrests after an employee at Giant Eagle, 4700 Belmont Ave., reported two women failed to properly scan and pay for $198 worth of merchandise. Cited on charges of theft and complicity to theft were a Struthers woman, 26, and a Youngstown woman, 25.
Theft: A man reported the theft of a $20 pair of electric hair clippers from his apartment in the 3000 block of Green Acres Drive.
Attempted theft/vandalism: Someone cut two rubber hoses attached to gas tanks at Belmont Park Cemetery, 3346 Belmont Ave., before trying to steal gasoline. Damage to the hoses was estimated at $200.
Arrest: After stopping a car on state Route 193, police arrested a 32-year-old Niles man on two warrants charging him with failure to appear in court on charges of domestic violence and driving under the influence.
Theft/vandalism: A worker at DelliQuadri Lawn Maintenance & amp; Landscaping, 1270 Trumbull Ave., discovered several company-owned vehicles had damage to their dashboards after having been broken into. Stolen from several trucks were citizens band radios and stereos.
Criminal damaging: An employee at Liberty High School, 1 Leopard Way, discovered a broken rear window on his car. Damage was estimated at $250.
Feb. 24
Arrest: Officers picked up a 33-year-old Youngstown man at the Mahoning County jail. He was wanted on a felony warrant charging him with passing bad checks.
Identity theft: A Klines Drive woman told police someone obtained her personal information regarding her bank account and wrote a check in her name.
Theft: A worker at Save-a-Lot, 3551 Belmont Ave., reported a man in his late 20s grabbed $290 from a register as she gave him change, then fled.
Arrest: Police arrested a 30-year-old Youngstown woman at the Mahoning County jail. She was wanted on a warrant from Liberty charging her with failure to appear on one count of receiving stolen property.
Arrest: The U.S. Marshals Service turned over a Youngstown man, 21, to Liberty police at a BP station, 2703 Belmont Ave. The suspect was wanted on warrants accusing him of failure to comply with the orders of a police officer and resisting arrest.
Feb. 25
Criminal mischief: A man in the 200 block of Trumbull Avenue reported someone tossed eggs at his residence.
Arrest: Warren police arrested a 36-year-old Niles man near state Routes 11 and 82 and turned him over to Liberty authorities. He was wanted on a felony warrant from Liberty charging him with passing bad checks.
Feb. 26
Theft: An employee at TW Pet Center, 3551 Belmont Ave., reported a man in his late 20s or early 30s removed a $160, 12-gallon aquarium. The item was returned.
Breaking and entering: Police arrested a Girard man, 34, and a Youngstown man, 35, on breaking-and-entering charges after someone entered Punky's Pit Stop and fled on foot. Officers found two garbage cans containing cigarettes, a sledgehammer and other items.
Feb. 27
Arrest: After responding to a report of a vehicle in a ditch near state Route 11, police learned both occupants were wanted on warrants. Taken into custody were two Youngstown women, 23 and 30, the 23-year-old on a traffic warrant and the other woman on a charge of child neglect.
Attempted breaking and entering: A worker at Kravitz Delicatessen Inc., 3135 Belmont Ave., saw that someone had broken a window and had tried to pull out a lock on the front door in an effort to enter.
