Rapes, murders net 3 indictments



The women were killed months apart last year.
YOUNGSTOWN -- Three men were indicted Thursday by a Mahoning County grand jury in cases where women's bodies were found in water.
Antonio Jackson, 25, of Summer Street, and Jason Clark, 24, of Verona Avenue, were named in a superseding indictment.
Jackson is charged with the aggravated murders of both Tahnee Jackson (no relation) and Sierra Y. Slaton. The indictment is superseding because it adds aggravated murder, kidnapping, robbery and rape charges against him in the Slaton case.
Jackson and Clark, who are both in Mahoning County jail, are charged with the kidnapping and robbery of Tahnee Jackson.
The grand jury also indicted Antwon Lanier, 23, also in the Mahoning County jail, and charged him with the aggravated murder, aggravated robbery, kidnapping and rape of Slaton.
Slaton, 19, of Vestal Road, was found floating in McKelvey Lake on the East Side around 6:30 p.m. Aug. 7, 2005, shot once. She had left home at 12:40 p.m. Aug. 6 and was reported missing late that night by her mother.
Tahnee Jackson, 29, of Cassius Street, was found shortly before 4 a.m. Nov. 20, 2005, nude and floating in a creek in a wooded area near Erie Street and Earle Avenue on the South Side. She had been drowned.

Shane J. Linden, 27, Crestview Road, Leetonia, cocaine possession.
James Buford, 22, McBride Street, Youngstown, theft.
Sheri A. Creech, 43, North Lakeview Circle, Youngstown, cocaine possession.
Eric S. Crislip, 37, Fairview Avenue, Niles, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
Alan Fairchild, 29, Forest Ridge Drive and Cameron Avenue, Youngstown, drug possession.
Mark David Gentsy, 25, Center Church Road, New Castle, heroin possession.
James LaRosa, 26, Margaret Street, Youngstown, cocaine possession.
Timothy Morris, 36, Buckeye Circle, Youngstown, theft.
James Neail, 22, East Warren Avenue, Youngstown, and Terence T. Sly, 20, East Lucius Avenue, Youngstown, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle.
Danny Trevathan, 37, Ives Street, Youngstown, felonious assault with a firearm specification, being a felon in possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence and cocaine possession.
Luis Gonzalez, 26, Ninth Street, Campbell, cocaine possession.
Heather L. Ester, 30, 13th Street, Campbell, cocaine possession.
Jamar L. Young, 21, 12th Street, Campbell, cocaine possession.
John C. Houser, 42, Hillman Street, Youngstown, receiving stolen property.
Calvin Allen, 21, Duncan Lane, Youngstown, cocaine possession with a forfeiture specification and failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
Joseph DiRenzo, 36, Richland Avenue, Youngstown, theft, receiving stolen property and breaking and entering.
Ernest Omotosho, 25, Almyra Avenue, Youngstown, domestic violence.
Lawrence Mitchum, 52, Berkley Avenue, Youngstown, cocaine possession,
John Mitchell, 44, Roslyn and Hunter Avenue, both Youngstown, arson.
Silvester Cox, 42, New Court Street, Youngstown, failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
Thomas C. Bowker Jr., 46, McCloskey Road, New Waterford, illegal processing of drug documents and failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
Jeremy Webb, 29, of Powers Way, Youngstown, two counts of rape, three counts of attempted rape and five counts of gross sexual imposition.
The grand jury also secretly indicted a John Doe for two counts of nonsupport of dependents, another John Doe for four counts of nonsupport of dependents, another John Doe for cocaine trafficking, another for two counts of cocaine trafficking, and yet another for three counts of marijuana trafficking and two counts of drug trafficking with forfeiture specifications.
