Democrats appoint Adler as city law director

HUBBARD -- Trumbull County Democratic Party precinct committee members have named Atty. Jeffrey D. Adler of Hubbard as city law director.
Committee members met Thursday to appoint a new law director after the death of Atty. Gary Gilmartin.
Christ Michelakis, county Democratic Party chairman, said Adler was appointed interim law director and was the only attorney to apply for the post.
Gilmartin, 56, died June 4 from complications after a heart transplant. He was a member of Mahoning County Bar Association and served as Hubbard law director and associate prosecutor for Girard. He had a private practice in Youngstown.
