KRISTA NOLFIMATTHEW BEARD
XLOWELLVILLE -- The Riviera Maya, Mexico, was the honeymoon destination of Matthew Beard of Poland and his bride, the former Krista Nolfi of Lowellville.
They were married at 2 p.m. May 27 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, and a reception was held afterward at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
The Rev. Gerald DeLucia officiated at the ceremony for the daughter of Don and Donna Nolfi of Lowellville and the son of Karen Beard of Poland and John Beard of Struthers.
The bride wore an ivory satin gown embellished with beading on the bodice and hemline, and the skirt flowed into a chapel train.
Wearing black gowns were the honor attendant, Cara Nolfi, and the bridesmaids, Rachyl Donnadio, Hillary Gustafson, Falyn Taylor, Shannon Nock and Amanda Nolfi. Junior bridesmaid was Carly Gemma, and flower girl was Krista Nolfi.
The duties of best man were performed by Jimmy Clark, and serving as groomsmen were Mark Donnadio, Michael Anthony, Jason Westrem, Jacob Durgan and Steve Shovlin. Junior groomsman was Marcus Donnadio, and ring bearer was Dylan Donnadio.
Mrs. Beard graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Westminster College in New Wilmington, Pa., where she is pursuing a master's in reading specialist. She is a teacher with Austintown School District. Mr. Beard, a teacher with Boardman School District, graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
